The Dunalley Hotel is situated on the Forestiere Peninsula 60 klms east of Hobart. Established in 1866, this Hotel is a landmark in Dunalley. It is prominently positioned on the main highway to Port Arthur and overlooks the hand-dug Denison Canal with its "swing bridge" and has views of Norfolk Bay.
The Hotel has been completely renovated and features a verandah where one can sit in the sun and enjoy an ale or meal, or perhaps dine near the open log fireplace with a Tasmanian wine in the Dining Room.
