The KIds Lockdown event was so popular last year that Maitland Gaol has decided to host it again in 2020, during a warmer part of the year. Upon arrival everyone will have the opportunity to store their bags and sleeping equipment before going on a family friendly guided torchlight tour of the whole site. Once the tour is finished you will have the time to choose and setup your cell before a light supper . Games will be offered for those interested in playing before everyone bunks into their cells for the night. A light breakfast will be offered on Sunday to help everyone wake up and fill their bellies before leaving the site. Available for children aged eight-fifteen years. Accompanying adult must be in attendance. Tickets will go on sale July 2019....
