With fantastic menu illustrations from local graffiti artist Itch, Tan can now be seen not only as a southern colonel, but transformed into John Lennon, David Bowie, a skinny-jeaned Ramone and even an Amy Winehouse Tan. The new décor, appropriately enough, is all 70s oranges and browns, with a stylised Colonel Tan beaming down from the kitchen awning. To complete the diner experience, Burgers are served in stamped paper wrap and the Fried Chicken comes in a classic wicker basket. Colonel Tan's is an experience to be remembered. It's like an American Diner hitting Bangkok.
